In-N-Out Burger is Overated
I don't often eat unhealthy meals, but when I do, I enjoy them. Burgers, fries, onion rings, and chocolate shakes are often part of my diet splurges. Yesterday, after a long-ish cycling ride, I was in the mood for one of these meal treats and decided upon In-N-Out Burger--my usual order...two hamburgers with ketchup and mustard instead of the "spread" and grilled onions, and an order of french fries. I ate in my car.
I know a lot of people who swear by In-N-Out, and I certainly don't dislike the high cal/low cost grub. But after multiple visits during the last seven years, I've come to the conclusion that Carl's Jr. blows it away. "CJ's" burgers are bigger and tastier. Cj's fries are better. And, their shakes are made with hand-dipped ice cream--head and shoulders above In-N-Out's imitations.
Future burger runs for this seldom fast food indulger will definitely be in Carl's Jr.'s direction.
