Wow. This place is cool The setting is greenhouse chic, literally. The organic styled restaurant is set in a greenhouse and the herbs and produce are grown on site. The decor is elegant and cool reflecting its diverse neighborhood SE of Dam Square. The all glass roof, chunky wood tables, and sparkling lights charm. This is an "experience". For those looking for a lively business dinner or family experience, consider the Bar Table, which is located in front of the fireplace and seats 12-16.
The menu is very focused and simple, which means that visitors need to forget customizing and tweaking. There is one set menu each day based on the harvest. Lunch is 2 courses, but you can also order from a selection 3 small starters or just the main. Dinner is 3 courses with choice of starters and then the main course. In terms of "flavor" the cooking style is Mediterranean with lots of fresh veggies!! The Chef will happily prepare a special menu.
The restaurant is located in Frankendael Park at the corner of Middenweg and Kamerlingh. Parking can be found across the street. For public transport take tram 9, stop Hogeweg.
