A slightly offbeat outfit, this is the place for people who "don't do tours" . The ride is far from strenuous, the narration is comical, and the sights are not often found on the typical tourist route. The "City Tour" begins in the heart of city centre and will take you into the city's depths exploring crooked houses, waterways, and even the guide's favorite watering hole. The City Tour lasts approximately 3 hours. There is also a "Countryside Tour" that lasts 4-4.5 hours; the majority of time spent riding along the Amstel River. Lunch at a farm is part of this tour.
The tours run daily from March through November, and on the weekends during the winter months.
Location: City Centre at Kerkstraat, parallel to Prinsengracht and between Nieuwe Spiegelstraat and Leidsestraat.
City Tour best for ages 13 and up; Countryside Tour, 10 and up
Hours:
City Tour departs daily at noon February through December 22nd. For month of January, departs at noon Mon, Wed, Fri-Sun. Closed Kings Day (April 27), Christmas through New Year's.
Countryside Tour departs at 11a.
Price: City Tour: 25 euro for the 3 hour tour; Countryside 28 euro for the 4+ hour tour.
