After a long day of travel and/or heavy business meals, we hanker for something simple. Soup en Zo comes to the rescue with its health conscious daily selection of a minimum of eight soups. Get it to go as this location does not offer seating. There are several locations in the city (Spiegelstraat, Jodenbreestraat, Van Baerlestraat). This is best for "to go" orders.
Along with the daily soups, whole grain bread, salads and exotic fresh fruit juices are also available. The soup chefs take pride in preparing a balanced selection of meat-based and vegetarian soups. Examples include leek potato; Dutch chicken; spicy cauliflower; pea with mint; zucchini with Parmesan and sweet potato with coconut and cashew nuts. Salad offerings may be hummus, cabbage salad with carrots and tamari, celeriac root salad with apple, and spicy roasted cauliflower.
