Learn about the life and art of Vincent Van Gogh through this museum, which houses the largest collection of his work in the world. Pieces include paintings, prints, drawings and personal journals. A small restaurant is also located inside the museum serving a variety of snacks, beverages and light lunch items such as sandwiches, soups and salads. Audio and multimedia tours are available (in English) for 4 euro.

Location: Museumplein @ city centre Directions: tram 2 or 5 from Central Station, exiting on Van Baerlestraat. Walk 1 block east to Paulus Potterstraat, where you will see the Van Gogh Museum nestled between the Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum.

Hours: Saturday-Thursday 9a-5p and Friday 9a-10p.

Rates: Purchase and print your tickets online, or at the entrance for 17 euro for adults. Under 18 free.
