This is a pretty big bike store with everything you can think of: bikes, apparel, gear and parts. The stock consists of road bikes, hybrid, BMX, mountain, cyclocross, and commuter bikes from brands like Felt, Marin, Focus, Pivot, Redline, Adams, and Surly.

This is a shop targeted at serious cyclists. Although small, Element sells bikes from Cyfac, Colnago, Pinarello, Eddy Merckx, Biomega, Civia, and Pashley. Helmets, clothing, and shoes are also sold here.

Well-known running store franchise that offers great shoes and accessories. We have yet to find a Fleet Feet that we didn't like, and this one in Cincinnati keeps the tally going.

A perennial "Top 100" bike shop, Montgomery carries a good selection of equipment and apparel with Specialized as a focus. Note that there are a few other locations for Montgomery Cyclery, but none are overly convenient to downtown.

Oakley is a small bike shop carrying mostly Trek and Trek-owned cycles, as well as some triathlon gear and other accessories. No group rides or rentals from this shop.

Located at Sawyer Point Park, this is a more scenic, tourist-y place to bike ride. The Bicentennial Commons and Ohio River are both nearby, so there are plenty of bike trails and paths to take. Rentals here are $8-10 per hour for mountain, road, and cruiser bikes.
