Sheraton at Capitol Square is a basic business-style accommodation for downtown Columbus visitors. Rooms are neither fancy nor extraordinary, so expect typical business hotel hospitality with conservative colors and standard furnishings. Sheraton's comfy beds are a definite plus with pillowtop mattresses and soft sheets, and free WiFi is available. Other room amenities include complimentary bottled water, coffeemaker, and mini fridge.
If you are an athletic-minded traveler who avoids any outdoor commute for a sweat, then this hotel is a good bet in downtown Columbus. Before you set your expectations too high, it's not the best hotel gym we've seen, but it is good, especially for the strength training. Inside the 22nd floor facility with spectacular views overlooking the Capitol, sweat fiends will find a mix of old and new cardio equipment alongside Life Fitness strength machines that sparkle. Best out of the cardio bunch are the ellipticals, recumbent bikes, and Stepmill.
