While we always prefer more "standardized" styles of yoga such as Bikram and CorePower, this studio is really convenient for those staying downtown and offers various levels of ashtanga and hatha yoga classes to give you a well-rounded workout.
The studio environment here is nurturing and the instructors are extremely progressive in their approach to teaching and learning. The studio space offers 3 large practice rooms, all furnished with hardwood floors, a soothing color palette and plenty of natural light. There are NO showers here (they aren't really needed), but there are plenty of bathrooms and the spacious changing rooms provide lots of storage room for your belongings. While Hot Yoga is offered, it's not that hot (80-86F).
You'll find the studio within walking distance (just over a mile) of most of our featured downtown hotels, in the lively Short North neighborhood. It does have a small parking lot, but there is also plenty of on-street parking available.
A single class is $20 and mat rental is $2 and all other props (straps, blocks, blankets, etc) are available to use during class free of charge. Some classes have special $10 pricing. See website for details.
Since this studio offers a variety of class levels, we suggest checking their website for detailed schedule information. They also require pre-registration for some classes so it may be helpful to call ahead. While we typically don't recommend studios that adhere to this strategy, we do like to provide options.
Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Hot classes are offered daily. With three practice rooms there are many classes to choose from. During the week 10+ classes are offered each day with the earliest starting at 5a and the latest at 7:45p. Classes are 60, 75 and 90 minutes long.
