Have you been in London so long that you are craving an American style diner experience? Or, are you traveling with kids? If the answer is yes, or if you simply want a basic dineresque menu of reasonably priced food, then Ed's is a decent option. However, unlike most diners, the menu is NOT big. Burgers, hotdogs, salads, and chili are the options here, so if you have a hankering for a ton of veggies or something overly gourmet, look elsewhere. In terms or decor, it's totally retro with all the accoutrements, chrome, lights, red and white etc. (Another diner option is called SoHo, which we favor over Ed's.)
The menu is pretty basic offering burgers, chicken, hotdogs, chili and salads. That's about it. Picky or light eaters should consider the bean spice or Mediterranean veggie burger, grilled chicken burger, or the chicken Dijon salad which comes with mixed leaves, diced chicken breast, sweet red peppers and dressing. It's very light on the veggies!
