Harrods is famous in London for its elegant shopping and food. Along with the food halls, Harrods also plays host to over a dozen restaurants/cafes. Wow! While there are other food halls in London (we've reviewed several.), Harrods is by far the most upscale in terms of décor and prices! Pretty much every type of food is sold here, but it can get very crowded. You may just want to tour it and try and fill up on the freebie samples. Salad eaters may enjoy the Dress Circle restaurant on the 1st floor.
It's a virtual maze here. You can easily get lost, but at least you won't go hungry! Aside from the food halls (ground floor) there are also a number of restaurants including a pizzeria (ground floor), Creperie (also has sandwiches and salads, 3rd floor), a Rotisserie (ground floor, kebabs, grilled meats), Mo's Diner (4th floor, can get breakfast eats here such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, along with burgers, sandwiches, and salads), Dress Circle (real salads, fussy sandwiches, and other California type cuisine), Sushi Bar and more!
Open daily Mon to Sat from 10a to 8p, Sundays noon to 6p
Please note: Restaurant hours are of similar, but sometimes varying, hours, so make sure to check Harrods’ website before visiting.
Nearest Tube stop is Knightsbridge
