Travelers have several meal possibilities at this well regarded department store. If you want less expensive, self serve and lots of choice, head to the Place to Eat on the 5th floor, which seats 300, and with its big windows offers plenty of natural light and West End city views. On the third floor the more upscale Bistro offers a yummy small plate (tapas) selection as well as a few larger plates and deli sandwiches. It's a great way to sample a number of eats and/or share with a friend. Last, the Brasserie, also on the third floor serves breakfast and a more traditional full lunch menu complete with fish, meat and chicken entrées. It is the most hearty of the three options and probably the one picky or super healthy eaters should avoid.
If you select The Bistro, small plates include ceviche, seared tuna, mushroom salad, French bean salad, seared beef, monkfish, frittata, spinach feta wraps, seared 5 spice salmon, chicken teriyaki, as well as deli sandwiches and larger plates such as smoked salmon, seafood selection, a Mediterranean platter and cheese plate. At the Brasserie, breakfast is limited to a fruit platter, eggs benedict, breakfast ciabatta, French toast and pastries. However, the lunch possibilities are diverse and include appealing starters such as the Caesar asparagus salad, avocado and veggie tartar, trio of salmon and a market soup. There are 8 entrées including pan fried sea bass, corn-fed roasted chicken, a vegetarian pasta, trio of fish and grilled rump steak. Luckily, if you do end up here, the veggie sides will help the health quotient.
All three have good Vegetarian options
