If you are looking for a market experience that will be less crowded than the Portobello market, but still offer plenty of food and other unique goods, come here. Sunday is the big day with over 200 vendors including a specialist organic market. Along with food, this market offers antiques, jewelry, clothing, records, books, art and high quality handmade goods. The covered market is located in a Victorian building off Brushfield St. During the week lunchtime is the busiest.

There's a small food court that offers sandwiches (look for the Deli Diner), baked goods, latkes, and other ethnic food. Stalls sell gourmet chocolates and other fine foods and there are coffee shops along the outer edges of the market. If you don't find something tasty at one of the stalls or shops, head toward Brick Lane where there are a number of eateries.
