This National Trail runs along the entire Thames, from source to mouth, which means that it cuts directly through the heart of London. You'll have to share the paved path with walkers, cyclists, tourists and others because it's not a dedicated fitness path (merely a paved sidewalk along the river). However, as with running in the parks, you need not worry about looking left or right, auto traffic, etc. on this pedestrian way. Many of our recommended hotels are located near different segments of the river and its accompanying path.
