Como Park is about a dozen miles from downtown Minneapolis in St. Paul and plays host to all sorts of athletic pursuits. In the summer consider golf, swimming, tennis, running or paddle-boating. In the winter you can ski or snowboard, but it's a beginner slope only.

Snow tubing is the highlight here--you can rent the rubber doughnuts for $7.50. Also a place for snowboarding and cross-country skiing with rentals of each available.
