Capital Grille is known for its dry aged steaks and power-meal setting of rich woods, 19th century art, white linens, high back plush chairs and intimate booths. Lunch offers a number of steakhouse type appetizers such as smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, appetizer soups and salads (including spinach). Entrée salads are also offered and include grilled chicken, shrimp or tenderloin Caesar, as well as fresh grilled tuna steak, salmon or lobster salads. Various big sandwiches and of course steak, filet, split roasted chicken, seared tuna grilled swordfish and shrimp scampi complete the lunch menu. Dinner is heartier with lobster and crab cakes, steak tartar and a shellfish platter for appetizers. Soups, starter salads lead way to more gourmet entrées of steak, lamb and veal. Light eaters should look to the seared salmon, grilled swordfish, and sesame seared tuna. Everything is a la carte here, with several veggie and starch offerings.
