Whether you’re practicing yoga to improve muscle tone, relieve stress, or increase flexibility, Amazing Yoga's power yoga is a nice option for athletic-minded travelers. Classes are 60-90 minutes long, maintain 90-degree heat, and run throughout the week. The studio does not have showers, but there are changing rooms and mats are available for rent. Amazing Yoga also sells Vita Cocoa and the drinking water fountain is filtered.
The Basics class focuses on the foundational postures of yoga, and the other classes are pretty much suitable for any yogi with some experience. Classes focus on Vinyasa flow, breathing, and MUSIC! You'll see what we mean if you view the class descriptions. The studio tends to get crowded—especially on the weekends. Bring a yoga mat and water bottle, wear comfortable clothes, eat sparingly beforehand, and arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will allow you to talk with the instructor about injuries or give yourself time to ease into your practice.
Schedule: Check the online schedule, but typically classes are offered in the evenings on weekdays with maybe a noon class as well. (5:45p, 7:15p). On weekends there are 2-3 classes starting as early as 8:15a.
PRICE: $17 per class. Mat rental $2; Bring your own towel and water. There is a filtered water fountain.
