Centrally located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh and within walking distance from Market Square, theaters, and museums is where you’ll find the upscale and modern Fairmont Hotel. It's a contemporarily designed, pet friendly, property with 185 guest rooms and suites that are located on floors 14 through 23. Guests on higher floors can count of good views via the rooms' floor to ceiling windows of Mt. Washington or PNC Park. Other room features include a large working desk, 42 inch flat screen TV, Keurig coffee machine, electric tea kettle, "refreshment center", and spacious bathrooms. WiFi is available for $15 a day. Keep in mind that if you are part of the Loyalty Program, WiFi is free.
What we really like about the property is its 6,000 square foot fitness center and spa located on the third floor! It has floor to ceiling windows that afford plentiful natural light and fantastic city views. Precor is the equipment of choice and while outside guests are allowed, ONLY hotel guests can access the space 24 hours using their room keys. For those who need some group motivation, Fitness on Demand is offered via a large screen TV in a separate room. Guests can participate in group classes via the instructor led class. Spin classes and other classes offered.
Locker rooms with saunas and eucalyptus steam rooms and private showers are located in the spa area and available from 5am to 9pm.
There is no pool here. The nearest option is the Sue Murray Swimming Pool. While it is less than a mile away, it is only open seasonally. If you really need to get those laps in, Club One's Pool is your best bet (5 miles).
Self Parking is $30 with no in and out privileges
Valet parking is $38 but you do have in and out privileges.
