Close to RTP, Baby Moon is a popular lunch spot. Don't worry if you think you may have missed it, just keep going. The restaurant is situated in a very small strip mall/retail center a little farther from the highway than other restaurants and stores along Jerusalem Drive. It's casual, inexpensive and the menu is big. Keep your expectations in check though and come for the convenience and diverse selection of Italian fare. Pasta, entrée salads, sandwiches, and Italian style entrées are all on this menu.

The menu is the same for lunch and dinner. Healthy highlights include grilled salmon salad, vegetarian chef salad, or the mixed greens with option of shrimp or chicken. Unfortunately spinach is not a listed salad option, but likely you could substitute. Other sensible possibilities include the pan seared salmon and shrimp, chicken mulberry, and the filet mignon served with grilled vegetables. Other menu items include sandwiches, heroes, pizza (regular and deep dish), meat entrées, and for those on the go, boxed lunches. Extra veggie sides also available. For any fish or chicken dishes, even if grilled, tell them easy on the oil!
