Urban, funky and cool describe this warehouse district space with exposed beams, local art, black and white floor tiles and a bold red wall. The tapas menu will please those who like to nibble and taste but may turn off big eaters. There is also an outdoor patio.
The Sunday brunch is more hearty than light.
Start with some greenery to get things going such as the heirloom tomato salad, or the Bibb salad. There are nearly 25 small plates listed (priced between $4 and $18 each). Athletic-minded highlights include a seared ahi tuna tostada, sea scallops, avocado and peas on toast, humble hummus, and NC lump crabmeat crostini. The brunch menu is fairly limited (at least for super healthy eaters) and offers just shy of a dozen selections, including shrimp and grits, Cornmealius pancakes, smoked Andouille sausage, huevos rancheros, breakfast burrito, and steak and eggs.
