The chef and owner of this Raleigh café relies upon fresh ingredients for his ever-changing, eclectic menu of tapas with main dishes. The menu is Mediterranean inspired and diverse. Both light and hearty eaters will have ample options. The serene wall colors, funky fish mobiles hanging from the ceiling, cozy booths and live jazz all combine to create a relaxed and almost beach-like vibe.
At lunch, you'll find soups, appetizers and salads (hummus, chicken Caesar, Middle Eastern platter, etc.), sandwiches and burgers (garden sandwich, fishcake sandwich, falafel wrap, etc.) in addition to daily specials which are typically more creative and gourmet such as pomegranate glazed salmon Caesar, grilled chicken over spinach, veggie quesadillas and a seafood pasta saute. Dinner is similar and offers a number of salads, additional appetizers, a few small plates, and about a dozen entrées. A recent dinner menu offered grilled grouper, paella, blackened salmon, shrimp linguini, beef quesadilla and a vegan grilled portabella mushroom with polenta. Don't forget the Sunday brunch with all the breakfast favorites (eggs, waffles, pancakes, French toast), along with salads, lunch items and specials featuring seasonal ingredients.
