Athletic-Minded Traveler

The duo behind Piper's in the Park opened this bright and airy café one half mile from Duke Hospital in the Erwin Terrace Building. The menu covers all the café basics with plenty of protein and carb options. The setting is cheerful and modern with lots of color and cool lighting fixtures.

Nosh opens early and offers breakfast eats until 10:30. The selection is small and includes egg sandwiches, bagels, French toast, scrambles and "MD's breakfast" which consists of vanilla yogurt, fresh fruit and choice of muffin. Espresso and smoothies are also offered. The lunch/dinner menu is café style with an assortment of deli sandwiches, hot sandwiches, burgers (veggie and turkey included), wraps and salads. Pizzas are also on the menu and customizers can select their own toppings.
