The attached Weathervane restaurant serves a good mix of Southern style hearty dishes and lighter fare--in the form of entrée salads, fish and a long list of side items at breakfast. The Sunday brunch favors big eaters. The restaurant is attractively decorated with light woods, subdued color tones and contemporary accents. In addition to the main dining room, there is a spacious and lush year-round outdoor patio. The coffee and wine bar offer another venue to relax and people watch. If you select the café, plenty of tasty breakfast fare is offered including scrambles, omelets, low fat muffins, brulee, buttermilk pancakes, ham biscuit, granola with yogurt and berries, and abreakfast quesadilla among other options. Egg beaters and egg whites can be substituted in any of the egg dishes. The sides list is long and will please customizers wanting a little of this and that! The lunch menu offers Southern style favorites along with lighter options such as entrée salads, sandwiches, and specials (fish and pasta of the day). The dinner menu mirrors the lunch menu with the addition of main entrées in place of the sandwiches/burgers. Examples include a balsamic-grilled ribeye, sweet-tea glazed almon and chicken breast. Entrée salads are available as well. Brunch offers ample lunch fare as well as some heavier breakfast style selections including pancakes, French toast, and a few egg dishes.
