This Italian bistro showcases local art in its cozy (and fairly small) dining room. It's classy yet casual with a high ceiling, exposed brick, blond wood accents and local art on the walls. The outdoor garden patio is in high demand when the weather is nice. If you need an Italian food fix, Molise is a good option. They pride themselves on being the before-an-event (sporting, opera, theatre) restaurant and feature live jazz music on Friday evenings. Light eaters will appreciate the entrée salads and grilled chicken options.
At lunch the grilled marinated chicken breast salad, the spinach with wild mushrooms and the mixed greens with grilled shrimp are sensible entrées. Various paninis (both meat and veggie) are sandwich options. The entrées include ravioli, polenta with sausage, veggies or grilled chicken, and other more traditional style pastas. At dinner entrée salads are still available and the antipasti list is more plentiful with a few options that may appeal to light eaters or those avoiding carbs. Seafood, poultry and meat entrées come with salad, veggie and starch. There is a fresh fish each day along with grilled chicken, beef and pork. The seven or eight pastas are upscale and include seafood, veggies, and meats.
