Provisions caters to tasting with its mostly small plate menu made up of New American cuisine. The interior leans upscale with fresh flowers, warm lighting, brightly colored walls, white covered tables, and an open kitchen. It has a modern, neighborhood bistro feel. At peak hours, the restaurant can be noisy, but with a menu made from organically grown produce and high quality meats and seafood, it's a worthy option.
The dinner menu has a good variety of food. Highlights include ceviche, niman ranch steak tartare, roasted beet salad, kale salad, roasted mushrooms, roasted asparagus, house-made pastas, grilled beef, roasted Alaskan halibut with asparagus broth and baby spinach, and caramelized black cod. Each menu item has interesting accompaniments. The Sunday brunch is popular and offers breakfast favorites such as eggs benedict, biscuits and sausage gravy, powdered sugar beignets, brioche French toast and almond flour pancakes. We like that you can get egg whites, fruit, waffles and a simple green salad as a side. Those looking for more hearty fare can order the Monte Cristo, cheeseburger, slow roasted pork shoulder, steak and eggs or the smashed avocado toast.
Open for dinner Tues-Sunday beginning at 5p; Sunday brunch 10:30a-2p
