The family owned and operated Shed boasts a menu of Southwestern cuisine and New Mexican favorites that will please both light and hearty eaters. The restaurant is tucked away in a quaint 17th century adobe home. The outdoor courtyard is lush and welcoming and inside the nine dining areas are casual and bright with folk art decorated walls, wood tables and floors and wood beamed ceilings.
On the lighter side, consider the grilled skewered shrimp, light soups, entrée salads (with grilled salmon or chicken), gardenburger or "light huevos" which is similar to regular huevos rancheros but with egg whites and no cheese. Other lunchables include green chile stew, posole, sandwiches/burgers, enchiladas, burritos, and tacos. Dinner keeps the heartier salads and the light huevos. Other sensible entrées include the grilled shrimp and grilled chicken breast. Fish tacos, charbroiled steak enchiladas and quesadillas are other potential dinner offerings.
Open Mon-Sat. Closed Sundays. Lunch 11a-2:30p. Dinner 5p-9p.
