Milk. It does a body good, but which type? Soy, Almond, Rice, Hemp or Dairy?

It used to be that picking up a carton of milk was very simple.  There was only one "kind": dairy milk.  Now, the cow must make room for the almond, bean, grain, seed, and even the goat.  

Whether it is lactose intolerance, milk allergies, veganism, taste or health reasons, people are switching to non-dairy forms of milk.  The most common reason I have heard for giving up the cow are the potential health benefits.

Is it really any surprise that, according to recent research, the bevy of "toning shoes" don't deliver? No you won't suddenly achieve a muscular backside, burn extra calories, or "get into shape without setting foot in a gym."

Bike Riding Turn Signals

I remember in Driver's Ed class learning the "official" bike turn signals: arm outstretched straight = left turn; arm in an "L" position (right angle at the elbow, fingers pointing to the sky) = right turn. BUT TRUST ME, most automobile drivers (and many bicyclists for that matter) are not going to remember what an "L" arm signal means! Clearly, some government official decided that the signal for right turn had to be different than left turn without considering the realities of the road.
